On November 16 from 2pm – 4pm ET, Committee on States, Democracy Alliance, and Funders’ Committee Action Fund will host Hot Takes: Post-Midterms Donor Briefing, a two-hour virtual event. We will convene funders and elections experts to share preliminary analysis of the 2022 midterm elections with a 2-panel format—one providing a national overview and another giving hot takes on hot states. We’re also planning a surprise special guest! Join us to hear perspectives on what worked well in 2022, what needs to be improved before 2024, and philanthropy’s role in it all. This “hot takes” session will be part 1 in a series, with part 2 planned for the first quarter of 2023, when we will dig deeper into turnout, narrative, and other data.
