2023 Convening Scholarship Opportunities

Thanks to our Equity & Inclusion Partners, FCCP will provide scholarships to offset some or all convening registration fees, on a limited basis, for our 2023 Annual Convening in New Orleans, April 23-26, 2023. Please note, scholarship recipients will still be responsible for all expenses related to convening travel and accommodations. To apply, please submit a completed application before or by 11:59 pm PST Friday, January 13, 2023.

Applications will be considered by the Convening Planning Committee (CPC) on a rolling-basis until the submission close date or until all available scholarships have been awarded. The CPC will use the following criteria to prioritize applicants:

  • Practitioners and funders are welcome to apply. However, a financial need must be demonstrated. Funder applicants with total institutional grantmaking budgets below $500,000 will be prioritized. Practitioner applicants with total expense budgets below $500,000 will be prioritized.
  • FCCP seeks to diversify the civic participation and philanthropy landscapes. In line with our values, leaders who self-identify as Black, Indigenous or People of Color, LGBTQ+, Gen Z youth, and/or with disability will be prioritized.
  • FCCP is a national organization with deep commitments in states and local communities across the country. Geographical diversity will be prioritized.
