
Events & Meetings Planner
Brittany Bowens (she/her) is FCCP’s Events & Meetings Planner. With over 8+ years in the hospitality and event industry & her diverse background in event logistics, she is excited to put her expertise to use with the Funders’ Committee.
After obtaining her Bachelors Degree in Entertainment Business, Brittany desired to perfect her craft. Over the last 5 years she has obtained 4 Event Certifications to ensure that she is current with event-related trends. Brittany holds a certification in Event Planning, Event Design, Event Management, and Event Strategy & Marketing. Throughout her college career she served on the Student Government Association as the Director of Events and planned all government-based internal and external events on campus. Here is where she found her love for cultivating events that are impactful for her community and aimed to build an equitable democracy.
Brittany has previously served as a Director of Events for various hotels and organizations and worked closely with corporate brands, small businesses, and nonprofits to create seamless and purpose-driven events.
Brittany’s perfect day consists of being surrounded by nature and flowers, going to the spa, and/or attending a new art exhibit.
