FCCP supports our community with the practical aspects of grantmaking to ensure effective and impactful philanthropy. Our philanthropic practice priority focuses on the “nuts and bolts” of grantmaking.
We offer resources and training that support development of clear and streamlined application processes, establishing effective reporting requirements, and understanding the legal parameters that govern philanthropic activities. By equipping funders with this foundational knowledge, we help them employ grantmaking practices that are efficient, transparent, and impactful.
Our programming also includes tools and frameworks for measuring the effectiveness of grants, enabling funders to track progress and make data-driven decisions. We emphasize the importance of setting clear goals and using relevant metrics to evaluate success, ensuring that funders can demonstrate the value of their investments and continuously improve their strategies.
