FCCP is an innovative and thought-provoking network that shares an underlying conviction that all people deserve a voice in our democratic process. We serve philanthropic leaders, in a nonpartisan way, who work to further our shared vision: a society where marginalized communities have the power to make a difference on issues that impact their lives, a culture of participation that inspires their engagement, and an open and equitable democracy which offers meaningful opportunities to exercise their voice.
With nearly 100 members, our network serves many types of philanthropy: institutions such as family foundations, community foundations, grantmaking public charities, corporate foundations and labor organizations and individual members including individual donors and philanthropic advisors.
- Valuable digital content, including participation in the FCCP listserv and access to exclusive resources such as reports, case studies, webinar recordings and white papers to help put your work at the forefront of civic engagement and participatory democracy;
- Proactive networking opportunities for trustees, program officers, and directors at various stages of their careers to uplift their work and their leadership;
- Opportunities to promote events, job opportunities and news through the FCCP website and the newsletter that reaches more than 800 philanthropic leaders nationwide; and
- Discounted registration for FCCP’s Annual Convening – taking place November 19 through 21 in Detroit. It is the premier civic engagement-focused philanthropy conference, that engages funders and field experts from across the country to explore the issues facing democracy, creates space for funders to network and learn from their peers, and facilitates engaging discussions on the challenges and opportunities in the field; among other benefits.
