We are pleased to present the following candidate for the membership’s vote to join the FCCP Advisory Board. We are thankful for our candidate’s willingness to serve our network in this capacity.
- Trevor Ostbye, Cities Forward (First Term)
All FCCP Advisory Board members are elected to staggered three-year terms. If confirmed, this candidate will join the full FCCP Advisory Board.
Trevor Ostbye | Executive Director, Cities Forward
Trevor Ostbye is the Executive Director of Cities Forward. He leads efforts to support local government in prioritizing public outreach and civic engagement.
Prior to joining Cities Forward, Trevor was a Senior Program Associate at Democracy Fund, where he led the organization’s work on pro-voter reform and voting rights at the state level. Trevor has also worked as National Coordinator at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, where he managed key aspects of the nation’s largest nonpartisan voter protection coalition, and Manager for Jobs and Project Planning at Hope Street Group, where he coordinated the creation of a bipartisan coalition around innovative strategies for workforce development. He has served on the Advisory Board of Vote Early Day, and the Steering Committee of Party at the Mailbox, a project of Black Girls Vote.
Trevor holds a J.D. from the Wake Forest University School of Law, and a B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University.
