Integrated Voter Engagement: Defining the Task

The 2005 Voter Engagement Evaluation Project (VEEP) generated a series of lessons on effective nonpartisan voter engagement grantmaking (see VEEP Report at www.funderscommittee.org). This analysis informed Funders’ Committee for Civic Participation members regarding effective voter engagement strategies and tactics that they can support. One critical finding is that the most effective way for field organizations to undertake nonpartisan voter engagement work is by integrating this work with their ongoing strategy of base-building, leadership development, and policy work.  read more »
