Voter Education, Registration And Ballot Campaigns: A Funder's Guide To Legal Issues

This 'orange booklet' describes restrictions that apply to different types of voter engagement work and clarifies how private foundations and other funders can support ballot campaigns. While the message of the FCCP is that funders can and should support nonpartisan civic and voter engagement work, this publication should provide general guidance but not legal advice, and funders are encouraged to consult their own legal counsel about specific questions.
