New Census Bureau Graphics On Registration And Voting Trends (from Terri Ann Lowenthal)

Wednesday, Feburary 15, 2012

Today the Census Bureau released ten new graphs highlighting national trends in registration and voting from 1964 to the present. The graphic presentations include voting information by race and Hispanic origin, age, education, labor force participation, and other key socio-economic characteristics. Various graphics present information for presidential, national, or congressional elections. All are based on previously released Census Bureau data, but the graphics show important trends in easy-to-understand format.

Here's the direct link to the new graphs: http://www.census.gov/hhes/www/socdemo/voting/publications/historical/index.html

I hope this information is helpful to the funders and affinity groups interested in civic engagement.

Thanks!

Terri Ann
